So it's finally time, you're going to give catching up with TV technology a try. If you're similar to most people, you really don't have much cash to spend right now, so chances are, you think you're not going to get really good quality if you get a cheaper high definition TV. You will be pleasantly surprised when you check out the Panasonic Viera TX-L32S10. This is an entry level high definition television that impresses most people who see it. Surely there are some downsides, but not many and they are far outweighed by the upsides.
There are so many positives with the Panasonic TX-L32S10, that it's hard to even consider the downsides to it. However, it needs to be noted that there is an issue with calibrating the backlight and colour outputs from the main onscreen menu. It's a very simple onscreen menu but that may be a downer for some more advanced users.
With SD and 720p resolution, there is a 1 to 1 pixel mapping capability, making the clearest resolution possible. With this Panasonic TX-L32S10 1080p resolution, there is not 1 to 1 mapping but the quality is incredible. There is no edge enhancement but that doesn't seem to cause any issues, in fact, those using 60p games through xbox and their PS3's seem to really like this set.
It can be an issue, but not a big one, mind you; for those who are planning on using the Panasonic TX-L32S10 high definition TV as their monitor for their desktop computer. The only thing that is lacking is the ability to map to 1 to 1 pixel which may cause a bit of an issue if you're going to use a lot of text driven applications. Other than that, you will be fine with this television. The price just can't be beat, not when you consider all of the perks you'll get with this television.
You may think that you're going to lose somewhere with this low priced set, probably with the sound quality. However, once again, you'll be pleasantly surprised. The sound quality is great, especially when you look at the placement of the speakers - pointing slightly downwards. Panasonic was obviously trying to make front presentation as good as possible on the Panasonic TX-L32S10 but they could have taken a little more consideration when it came to placement. However, this doesn't cause any lack of quality sound.

Anyone wishing to improve the sound production to make the viewing experience on the TX-L32S10 more like going to the cinema can add a high quality home theatre sound system or a surround system with ease.

Let's face it, this is a very basic, entry level high definition TV. However, the Panasonic TX-L32S10 is full of surprises. I really can't believe the low price that you pay for this high of quality images. You will find that there is sharpness with this model that you just don't find elsewhere, especially not for the price. If you are one who has issue with slight colour issues, you may be unhappy with the redness of skin tones, but again, it is really not an awfully big issue. Most people will never notice it. Just keep in mind that you're getting an awful lot for a little price tag.
